Dolores "Della" (Biss) Lewis

Dolores “Della” Lewis, 92, proud resident of South Greensburg, died Friday, April 2, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born November 11, 1928 in South Greensburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Chernicky) Biss.  Prior to retirement she had been the owner of Jus-Lik-Nu.  She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. “Jack” Lewis; and her sister, Miriam Bamonte.  She is survived by her children, Linda Lewis and husband Benny, of Camano Island, Washington, John Lewis and wife Vanessa, of South Greensburg, Patricia Lewis, of South Greensburg, and Jacqueline Lewis Pretends Eagle, of Hendersonville, TN; two grandchildren, Rosaria Pretends Eagle and Gus Pretends Eagle; her brother, Joseph Biss and wife Bernie, of The Villages, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, 1715 Broad St., Greensburg.  Please go directly to the church.  Interment will follow in Hillview Cemetery, Greensburg.  Please be prepared to adhere to all current health guidelines, including face masks and social distancing.  www.bachafh.com
