Dolores M. Basile

Dolores M. Basile, 92, of Southwest Greensburg, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Concordia at Weatherwood in Greensburg.  She was born July 25, 1932, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Clarence R. and Lillian G. (Buzzard) Myers. Dolores worked at Plamer’s Insurance Agency before retiring from the Old Republic Insurance Company. She was a member of Zion’s Lutheran Church in Greensburg. Dolores was a volunteer at the Redstone Highlands salon and volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 24 years. She enjoyed going to lunch and the movies with her friends. She also enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head Island.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Basile; and her stepfather, Carl T. Berghel.  She is survived by her son, David Basile, of Greensburg; and her daughter, Debora Urchek (Thomas) of Blairsville. Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12 PM with the Rev. Brian Chaffee officiating.
