Deborah Jean Forte

Deborah Jean Forte, 69, of White Oak, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 in UPMC Presbyterian.  She was born February 26, 1952 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Anthony D. and Charlene (Baron) Forte.  She had formerly owned and operated the Colonial Touch Flower Shoppe in Ligonier.  She loved working at Story Book Forest and loved the kids that visited.  Debbie was a beloved mother, grandmother (Mimi), and friend to all. Her kind and generous heart made any person who crossed her path feel welcome and loved. She was truly beautiful inside and out. Debbie enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren, family, and her two dogs, Tony and Addy McGee. She loved cooking for her family, while listening to Italian music. She continuously volunteered her time at numerous places and was a caregiver for many years. Debbie was proud of being crowned homecoming queen and “friendliest senior” in 1970. She also had a very humorous and silly personality, easily bringing a smile to many people’s faces. She may have been taken from us extremely too soon, but we will forever cherish the time and memories we were blessed to have with her. She is now finally at peace, able to hold her son again in her arms.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Forte.  She is survived by her daughter, McGee (Geoffrey) Wills, of Greensburg; her son, Gabrielle Norelli, of Latrobe; six grandchildren, Gionna, Maddox, Melana, Maicey and Gracie Wills, and Adrian Norelli; her great-granddaughter, Iyla Jean; brother, David (Janet) Forte, of Georgia; her niece, Mindy Petrovay; and her nephew, Josh Forte.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral liturgy will begin at 10 AM Tuesday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, McKeesport.  Please be prepared to adhere to all current health guidelines, including face masks and social distancing.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 444 Liberty Ave., Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
