Debbie H. (Phillips) Smarr

Debbie H. (Phillips) Smarr, 78, of Abingdon, VA, formerly of Greensburg, died Thursday, November 6, 2025.  She was born June 24, 1947, in Turtle Creek, the daughter of the late Alexander and Dorothea (Batley) Phillips.  Prior to retirement she had worked as a human resources manager.  In her younger years, Debbie was an avid gardener and sewer.  She is survived by her son, Robert Folino; her daughter, Melissa Sequete and husband Randall; and three grandchildren, Carmela Folino, Alexander Sequete, and Evan Sequete; Friends will be received from 11 AM to 12 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will immediately follow at noon with the Rev. David Clement officiating.  Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, P.O.
