David E. Harbaugh, Jr., 72, of Greensburg, died Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital. He was born November 15, 1952, in Jeannette, a son of the late David E., Sr and JoAnn F. (Seymore) Harbaugh. Prior to retirement, David worked as a truck driver for Latrobe Construction. He was a member of the Roosevelt Club of Hempfield Township, SNPJ Lodge, American Legion Post No. 981, the VFW Post No. 33, the A&B Club, and the Catholic War Veterans Association. He enjoyed going to Raystown Lake and spending time with his family and friends. David enjoyed going to Canada for fishing trips and looking at train displays at the holidays. He was also an avid car show enthusiast. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Barrie Harbaugh. He is survived by his wife, Mary J. (Horchak) Harbaugh; his daughter, Tina Harbaugh; his son, David E. Harbaugh, III (Jennifer); two grandchildren, Jenna Baird and David E. Harbaugh, IV; his great-grandson, Julien Mull; his brother, Kenneth M. Harbaugh; his aunt, Joanne Romanoff; several nieces and nephews; and two special nieces, Kristie and Brandi. Prayers will begin at 2 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, followed by a visitation from 2 to 6 PM.
