David DiRado Obituary

David A DiRado, 67, of New Stanton, Pennsylvania, passed away tragically on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Acme Lake. Dave, Denim Dave, Red, or Dave Co’mere to most, but husband, dad, brother, pap, and uncle to us. To put it simply, he was a legend. If you knew him, you have a story or 10 of his shenanigans and rowdiness. He never met a stranger, and all who knew him loved him. He was a fixer of anything, for anyone, at any time. A true MacGyver. He loved hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping with his wife, and anything outdoors, NASCAR, or Pittsburgh sports related. He also loved tinkering-with anything, and collecting “treasures,” if you know you know. He was larger than life and lived every minute as if it would be his last. He loved his family fiercely, and you could find him any given day, in the yard or garden with a Camel, and a Budweiser, and one for you too. He was witty and always found himself to be the funniest. (Don’t tell him, we think he was the funniest too.) He will be missed beyond measure and there isn’t one person who could fill his (size 8) shoes. No really, those are small feet.

Dave is lovingly remembered by his wife, Deanne “Dee” DiRado; his daughters, Vanessa and Danielle DiRado; his sister, Sue Bysick; and his brothers, Jim DiRado and his wife Rose, and Dan DiRado. He also leaves behind his step-children, Suzy Mano and her husband Fran, and David Barnes. Dave was a cherished grandfather to ten grandchildren, Cameron, Coleton, Carissa, London, Jordyn, Kimari, Kaison, Anthony, Autumn, and Riley (Tyler). He also loved spending quality time with his niece and nephews, Melissa (Joel), Joel (Sarah), Caleb and Tyler. He is also going to be missed by his ex-wife and friend, Missy, and all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick and Libby DiRado, as well as his brother-in-law Jack Bysick.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton St, Greensburg. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 AM Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in the funeral home.  In honor of Dave’s memory and spirit, friends and family are invited to dress down and wear their best denim—a tribute to the man he truly was.  May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
