DaShawn C. Jones

DaShawn C. Jones, 14, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024.  He was born November 3, 2010, in Greensburg, a son of Maurice Jones and Mandy Thompson.  DaShawn enjoyed hanging out with his family and playing video games.  He was a loved boy and touched many hearts.  He was his mom’s best friend and enjoyed building Legos with his dad.  He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, William, Jr. and Janet (Houck) Thompson; his paternal grandmother, Ella Jones; and his maternal grandfather, Fredrick Fitzgibbon.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Bailey Thompson and Jasmin Jones; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Elizabeth Cholock; nephew, Daveion Thompson Floyd; aunts, Candi Thompson, Tori Cholock, Tosha Williams, Tameera Jones, Celeste Jones, and Jessica Jones; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 1 PM Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Nate Keisel officiating.  Private interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
