Cynthia Marcella Carla Somple

Cynthia Marcella Carla Somple, 66, of Southwest Greensburg, died Saturday, May 23, 2026, in her home.  She was born September 23, 1959, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Stephen T. and Marcella (Howell) Somple. 

Cyndee was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School.  She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Thiel College, where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.  She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Greensburg and helped with Sunday School. 

Cyndee is survived by her sister, Stephanie Somple; and numerous cousins, including Carole Gallentine and husband, Jerry.  Friends will be received from 11 am to 1 pm Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 pm with the Rev. Shirley Musick officiating.  Private interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
