Courtney J. Cassidy

Courtney “CJ” J. Cassidy, 43, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born June 3, 1981, in Monroeville, a daughter of Bill Cassidy and the late Sandra Cassidy. CJ was a graduate of Greater Latrobe Senior High School.  She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and her master's degree from St. Vincent College. She was a math teacher at Franklin Regional Middle School and loved the children she taught dearly.  She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg. In addition to her father, CJ is survived by her daughter, Brooklyn Cassidy and her father, Bill Hahn; two brothers, Darren Cassidy (Heather) and Corey Cassidy (Vikki); her sister, Shannon Cassidy Scullin (Conor); and five nieces and nephews, Jordyn, Kaden, Kross, Madison, and Tierney.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral liturgy will begin at 10 AM Monday in the funeral home.
