Connie (Riffle) Troshak

Connie (Riffle) Troshak, 73, of Greensburg, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born May 26, 1949, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Richard G. Riffle and Jeanne (Weaver) Plechner.  Prior to retirement she had been a nurse’s aide and transportation at Westmoreland Regional Hospital.  Connie loved camping at Jeffco Lakes Resort and was an avid baker with “good butter”.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles D. Burkhart; sister, Mary Jeanne Slarcheck; and brother, Richard Riffle, II.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Marty Troshak; two daughters, Dawn Marie Kolick (Michael), and Erica Troshak; three grandchildren, Kasey Leigh Leonard (Derek), Chelsea Jeanne Burkhart, and Nathan Jacob Burkhart; her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Jeanne Leonard; sister-in-law, Darlene Riffle; sister-in-law, Joyce Troshak (Steve); brother-in-law, David Troshak (Kay); several nieces and nephews; and two loving cats.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, where everyone is welcome to join the family for a service of remembrance at 7:15 PM.  www.bachafh.com
