Clarence E. White, 97, of Greensburg, died Friday, September 20, 2024 at Concordia of Monroeville. He was born December 9, 1926 in Pleasant Unity, a son of the late David L. and Mary E. (Smitley) White. Prior to retirement he worked at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg and had served with the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greensburg, where he sang in the church choir for over 50 years. Clarence enjoyed music and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harrold D. White and his sister, Florence A. Helfferich. He is survived by his wife, Betty M. (Johnston) White, his daughter, Lisa Szulczewski and husband Leonard of Monroeville and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to be held at 1 PM Friday, October 11, 2024 at First United Methodist Church, 15 E. Second Street, Greensburg.
