Christopher C. Moore

Christopher C. Moore, 71, of Derry, died Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born November 9, 1953, in Greensburg, a son of the late Ira F, Sr and Dorothy (Barnhart) Moore.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by US Foods.  Christopher was a Jack of all trades, who loved to fish, hunt, and enjoyed old westerns. He was proud of his shot glass collection which contained over 6,000 shot glasses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Wayne Moore; two brothers-in-law, John Makarsky and Mark Dlugos; and his nephew, Matthew Dlugos.  He is survived by his wife, Bernadette M. (Lubash) Moore; three children, Carrie Moore, Shane Moore, and Kelly Anderson (Leroy); his granddaughter, Katie Moore; his great grandson, Bellamy; his brother, Ira F. Moore, Jr; two sisters, Marilyn Makarsky and Susan Dlugos; and several nieces and nephews.  A funeral liturgy will begin at 3 PM Wednesday in the LEO M.
