Christopher A. Malik, 34, of Greensburg, died Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born November 21, 1989, in Jeannette, a son of Ted and Sandy (Florek) Malik. Chris had worked as a quality inspector for Elliott Group, Jeannette and was the head trustee of Local USW No. 1145.
He enjoyed golfing in several leagues, motorcycles, and motorcross. He also loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. Chris was passionate about helping children suffering from hair loss by donating his hair to Wigs for Kids. Everyone who knew Chris loved him, and he loved everyone he knew.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Katherine “KJ” Florek; paternal grandparents, Charles and Donna Malik; and his dog, Bruno.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his wife, Samantha A. (Linsenbigler) Malik; his sister, Sam Malik (Catie); maternal grandfather, John Florek; three nephews, Landon Gnesda, Logan Gnesda, and Jackson Malik; aunt, Sharon Bold (Doug); uncle, John Florek (Kristin); father and mother-in-law, Dana and Louise (Gasparato) Linsenbigler; sisters-in-law, Danielle Linsenbigler and Nicole Gnesda (Brandon); numerous cousins; and his dog, Weston.
Friends will be received from 12 to 3 and 5 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday in St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 3028 State Route 819, Slickville, PA 15684. Please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
