Charles L. Kelly, 77, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 17, 2024. He was born December 6, 1946 in Greensburg, a son of the late James O. and Agnes A. (Bailey) Kelly. Charles grew up with love of farming and horses and belonged to several 4H clubs. After high school, went to Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and enlisted in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement Charles worked for AirNet Systems in Columbus, Ohio and was a member of American Legion Post #698 and Richard Vaux Masonic Lodge 454 F. & A.M. both in Burgettstown, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou German. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Phillips) Kelly, 3 sons, Chad L. Kelly and wife Laura, Aaron J. Kelly and Brandon J. Kelly and wife Jodi, 6 grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Lacey, Drew, Gabe and Quinn, his brother, James W. Kelly and wife Mary Louise, 2 sisters, Janice L. Orczeck and Linda A. Clayton and husband David, brother-in-law, A. Leroy German and wife Patty and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon Monday, August 5, 2024 at the Pleasant Unity United Methodist Church, 4685 Route 981, Pleasant Unity, at which time a memorial service will be held with The Rev. Jason E. Schweinberg officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Luke’s Reformed Cemetery, Unity Township.
