Charles Elmer Cramer, 96, of Unity Township, died Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Loyalhanna Care Center, Derry Township. He was born December 7, 1927 in Lycippus, a son of the late Albert E. and Rachel (Summy) Cramer. He served with the US Army during WWII and prior to retirement he worked at the former TOYAD Corporation, Latrobe. Elmer had a passion for woodworking and enjoyed giving away his many projects that he made. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Iva J. (Bronson) Cramer, 6 sisters, Harriett and Emma Cramer, Lottie Gliden, Mildred Kunkle, Etta Anderson and Rebecca Wissinger and 5 brothers, John, Edward “Abe”, Paul, William and Bernnie Cramer. He is survived by his sons, Charles A. (Cynthia), Raymond E. (Sandra), and Jeffrey A. Cramer (Kasey Ellis) all of Greensburg; 4 grandchildren: Wesley Cramer, Christy Sheehy, Raeanne Garlovich and Cory Cramer, 10 great grandchildren: Alexei, Charlie, Callie, Ahnika, Trustin, Levi, Issac, Naleia, Saria and Paige and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were private. Private interment in Lycippus Community Cemetery, Unity Township. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, in charge of arrangements.
