Cecelia Garbon

Cecelia Garbon, 84, of Mammoth, died Monday, January 26, 2026.  She was born January 3, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Stephen A. Jr. and Mary (Raymond) Garbon.  She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and prior to retirement she worked at Powerex in Youngwood.  She was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United, and played in the Monday morning league at Norvelt Golf Club.  Cecelia enjoyed polkas and country western music and adored her nieces and nephews.  She is survived by her brother, Andrew Garbon (Martha) of Norvelt, 4 sisters, Mary Ann Uhrin of Mt. Pleasant Township, Louise Coole of Greensburg, Carolyn Adamrovich of Weltytown and Stephanie Donati (Raymond) of Dubois and numerous nieces and nephews.  There will be no visitation or viewing.  Family and friends are invited to her funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 31, 2026 at St. Florian Catholic Church, 4263 Route 981, Mt. Pleasant, PA with The Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant.  Please go directly to the church.  Private interment in St. Florian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.  LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Florian Church, PO Box 187, United, PA  15689.
