Catherine A. (Blahovec) Danko

Catherine A. “Babe” (Blahovec) Danko, 82, of Greensburg, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born April 11, 1942, in Ambridge, PA, a daughter of the late Gabriel and Veronica (Hanko) Blahovec. She was a member of St. Bruno Church in South Greensburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Danko; two brothers, John G. Blahovec and Joseph Blahovec; and her sister, Agnes Guidas.  She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Danko (Wesley); her son, David J. Danko (Jamie); two grandchildren, Kelsey Trumbetta (Justin) and Justin Campbell (Kenzie); and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday in St. Bruno Church, South Greensburg.  Please go directly to the church.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
