Carol Ann Hihath

Carol Ann Hihath went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born to her parents Charles and Rose Badzik of Monessen, PA, Carol lived her life dedicated to God and her family. Carol was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Greensburg, PA. She spent many years as the sacristan cleaning and decorating the church. Her favorite times of the year were the Christmas and Easter seasons. She spent many hours planning and decorating the church for these holidays. She loved her family and dogs. She spent many years with her grandchildren enjoying moments only a grandmother could enjoy. She loved taking care of her rescued Dobermans and other dogs: Princess, Max, Missy, Gretchen, and Barron. Carol was preceded in death by her father and mother Charles and Rose (Blatt) Badzik. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Linden Don Hihath, her daughter and son-in-law, Leanne and Kirk Lentz, her three grandchildren Zachary, Andrew and Gabriella Lentz of Greensburg, PA. Additionally, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law John and Kathy Badzik, her nieces Jennifer and Rachel and their families, all of Phoenix, AZ. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Friday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.
