Carmella Y. (Barbour) Knizer

Carmella Y. Knizer, 91, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022.  She was born January 28, 1931, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Alexander G. Sr. and Mary C. (Petroy) Barbour.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by Seton Hill University/Aramark for 39 years.  She was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Alex “Sonny” Barbour, Thomas “Skinny” Barbour, and George Barbour; her sister, Jean Emanuele; and her grandson, Jason Tickle.  She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline A. Tickle (Bob), of Saltsburg; her grandson, Derek Tickle (Kaley); three great-grandchildren, Alexander, Addison, and Charlotte; her brother, Michael Barbour (Janet), of Greensburg; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 7 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral liturgy will begin at 10:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
