Bonnie L. (Collins) Brooks, 78, of Greensburg, died Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Hempfield Manor, Greensburg who was taking care of her medically. She was born February 10, 1947, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Raburn and Catherine (Stewart) Collins. Prior to retirement she worked as a cook for Hillview Bowling Lanes in Greensburg. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Bonnie was a wonderful mother and great person. She was a homemaker who loved her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Brooks, Sr on February 21, 2023; and two sisters, Carol Yusko and Myrna Delaney. She is survived by her children, James Brooks, Jr (Kimberly White), Ronald Brooks (Angie Pickford), and Brian Brooks (Lisa Brooks); four grandchildren, Stefani Boysel (Jon), Hannah Weston (Steffon), Emily Piccolino (Vinny) and Breighlyn Brooks (John); two step grandchildren, Branden Smith (Amber) and Tyler Smith; six great grandchildren, Cooper, Sawyer, Makenzie, Mylah, Zarah, and River; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services or visitation. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg is assisting with arrangements. The family would like to thank all the medical facilities who took care of Bonnie.
