Betty J. (Laughrey) Phillips

Betty J. Phillips, 90, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Newhaven Court at Lindwood.  She was born April 9, 1935, in Fairchance, Pa., a daughter of the late Edna (Able) and Ralph Laughrey.  She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Greensburg, where she dedicated many years to the church nursery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Phillips. She is survived by three daughters, Joy Basler, of Tulsa, Ok., Donna Phillips, of Pulm, and Karen Phillips, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Joshua Franklin officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. www.bachafh.com
