Barbara (Whitehair) Banner

Barbara (Whitehair) Banner, 63, of Latrobe, formerly of Leechburg, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 1, 2023. She was born May 1, 1960.  Barbara was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Whitehair.  Barbara lived in Florida for 25 years working as a clerk. Later, she returned to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren who she adored. Barbara enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren, especially holidays and large family celebrations. She also loved and collected Indian dolls, dream catchers, and artifacts. She is survived by her daughter Christina (Josh) Bossart, grandson Richard Armstrong, granddaughters Ally and Lani Bossart; brother Michael (Gloria) Whitehair; sisters Cindy (Bruce) Sardon; Deborah (Leonard) Arb; Pamela Washburn; Jamie Rimmel; Sheila (Michael) Costanza; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. There will be a celebration of life on April 22, 2023 at 1pm at Mutual VFD, 214 Mutual Firehall Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Blackburn Center, PO Box 398, Greensburg, PA  15601.  Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity, is assisting with arrangements.
