Arthur A. “Red” Bell, 86, of Greensburg, formerly of Crabtree, died Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Brookdale Senior Living, Latrobe. He was born November 15, 1938, in Greensburg, a son of the late Theodore and Dorothy (Moon) Bell. He was a 1957 graduate of Greensburg High School. Prior to retirement, Red owned Ted Bell’s Garage in Greensburg. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Greensburg and was a former member of St. Bartholomew Church where he was a volunteer for bingo at every Sunday night. He was also a member of the VFW Post No. 33, and the AMVETS in Greensburg. Red was the chief of Crabtree Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie (Campomizzi) Bell; his son, Arthur A. Bell, Jr.; his brother, Theodore Bell, Jr.; and his sister, Donna Malik. He is survived by his four children, Theresa Bianchi (Brian), Michael Bell (Bobbi Jo), Dennis Bell (David McMunn), and Brian Bell (Sheila); his longtime partner, Rose Ann Toth Smail; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
