Arnold Leo Sessler

Arnold Leo “Arnie” Sessler, 77, of Unity Township, died Monday, January 4, 2021 at UPMC East, Monroeville.  He was born September 6, 1943 in Syracuse, NY, a son of the late George and Dorothy (Steingrebe) Sessler.  Prior to retirement he worked at Anchor Glass in New York and previously many years at Brockway Glass in California.  Arnie was an avid fisherman and still had his first fishing pole.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years:  Jeannine Diane (Crane) Sessler and his brother Peter Sessler.  He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Crossman and husband Paul of Fallbrook, CA and Wendy P. Helton and husband Jose Suarez of Tustin, CA, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his sister, Carol Geffell and several nieces and nephews.  There will be no visitation or viewing.  Private arrangements by the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, P.O. Box 1552, Greensburg, PA 15601.
