Anthony G. Nalevanko, 90, of Mammoth, died Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born October 26, 1935 in Greensburg, a son of the late Anthony J. and Margaret (Zuback) Nalevanko. Prior to retirement he worked for JJ Sosko Trucking and previously for Donegal Construction and Taylor Trucking. He was a member of United Slovak Club, Kecksburg Firemen’s Club and Calumet Community Club. Tony enjoyed playing shuffleboard in club leagues. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Nalevanko and 2 sisters, Doris Lapka and Margaret Shibilsky. He is survived by his wife, Louise (Lowther) Nalevanko, 6 children, Deborah Kincheloe, Tami Jones, Jennifer Dixon (Cleaves), Greg Nalevanko (Mary), Melanie Shively (Mike) and Sherry Kirtland (Eric), 6 grandchildren, Courtney, Chad, John, Dylan, Cassidy and Steve, 3 sisters, Betty Smartnick, Susan Little (Dennis) and Kathleen Burk and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time his funeral service will begin with Avis Specht, L.M. officiating. Private inurnment in St. Paul Reformed Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township. A special thanks to Eric Peffer for his help and friendship. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Drive, Delmont, PA 15626.
