Amil A. DiPadova, 90, of Delmont, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at his home. He was born April 30, 1933, in Delmont, a son of the late William H. and Florence J. (Macerelli) DiPadova. Prior to retirement, he had been the corporate director of operations for Rockwell International Corporation. He was a member of St. John's Baptist de La Salle Church, Delmont, and was a strong supporter of St. Vincent Seminary. Amil was a lifelong resident of Delmont. The simplest pleasures of life brought great joy to Amil, watching sports on TV, going out to dinner and especially spending time with family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James A. DiPadova; brother, James E. DiPadova; and sister, Theresa Jewett. He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn E. (Marnell) DiPadova. Amil was the love of MaryAnn’s life, as she was his. She cherishes the beautiful life they had together here on earth and looks forward to being reunited in heaven. Amil lives on in her heart always. He is also survived by his daughter, Ann M. Thomas (Robert); three granddaughters, Lindsy Thomas Bartoleit, Katie Slezak (Joel) and Dana Radic (Jeremy); eight great-grandchildren, Holden, Drew, Henry, Josie, Ben, Annie, Archer and Lucy; a sister, Agnesa Lucki; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Vincent Basilica, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, Latrobe, PA 15650. Please go directly to the basilica.
