Alfred G. Leonard, 91, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023. Born September 13, 1931, he was the oldest son the late William and Alice (Ruffner) Leonard. He was the owner of A.G. Leonard Construction and enjoyed woodworking in his shop after his retirement. He created many custom pieces for family and friends. He was a member of Luxor United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Reatha (Stewart) Leonard in 1998; and his longtime companion, Gladys (Smith) Gower in 2022; as well as six siblings, Lou, Alberta, Hazel, Clark, Sally, and Dale. He is survived by his children, Connie Houp and Sandy Reott, of Greensburg, Philip, of Arizona, Jeffrey (Ranae), of Luxor, Eileen Aston, of Virginia, and Mark (Amy), of Greensburg; 16 grandchildren, Melanie Testa, Jennifer (Eric) Funnell, Chelsea (Salvatore) Cerra, Nicholas (Katia) Reott, Erika Reott, Rachel (Ben) Califf, Joshua Leonard, Jacob (Elizabeth) Leonard, Abby Leonard, Krista (Ronnie) Ahlborn, Conrad (Brytni) Leonard, Danielle Craft, Jesse (Cenleigh) Aston, Rebecca (Christian) Kuchar, Madeline Leonard, and Casey Leonard; 23 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Fritz Kunkle, of Hempfield, Judy Watt, of New Alexandria, Gail Frye, of Pleasant Unity, and Barbara Leonard, of Latrobe; and four brothers, Edward, George, and Gary, of Latrobe, and Robert, of Greensburg. He was an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and a friend to many. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Tammy Falcsik officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. www.bachafh.com
