William “Bill” Paul Rohal, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, 92, of Greensburg, passed away on the evening of January 20, 2018, with family by his side. Born on September 7, 1925 in Forbes Road to the late John and Mary Rohal, Bill spent his life in the Greensburg area. He married Grace Testa in 1956 and together raised four daughters. Before retirement, Bill worked for PPG Industries for over 30 years. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Grace, and his siblings, John (Cecilia) Rohal, Joseph Rohl, Margaret (Bob) Thompson, Mary (Melvin) Hite, and Betty (Jack) Giesmann. Bill is survived by his four daughters, Janice (Bob) Kenney of Virginia, Joanne (Nick) Redondo of Pittsburgh, Jackie Rohal of Greensburg, and Judy (Michael) Radocaj of Greensburg; eight grandchildren, Malarie (Craig), Justine (Brian), Nick, Marco, Anthony, Annagrace, Roberto, and Ashlyn; and six great-grandchildren, Alexis, Riley, Tye, Eleanor, Alise, and Theodore. Bill is also survived by his sister-in-law, Madeline Testa, and several nieces and nephews. Bill will be remembered for his sense of humor, sweet tooth, love of Pittsburgh sports, and enthusiasm for feeding every guest in his home. He always remembered to stock up on his grandchildren's favorite foods, and never forgot treats for his beloved grand-dog, Brady. Bill was a man of strong Catholic faith and weekly attendee of Our Lady of Grace Church. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and member of the Hannastown Golf Club, VFW, Touchdown Club, and Elks Club. Bill was a talented woodworker who, together with his brother, built the house he lived in for over 50 years. He took great pride in his home, and could be seen caring for his own yard well into his 80s. "Swim like fish, no bring shoes."
