William F. Kuhns, 89, of Greensburg, died Friday, September 22, 2017 in Amber House, Mt. Pleasant.  He was born October 10, 1927 in South Greensburg, a son of the late William E. and Grace (Lopes) Kuhns. Prior to retirement he had been employed by West Penn Power.  He was a member of Third United Church of Christ, South Greensburg.  William had served in the US Navy during WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna D. (Rigby) Kuhns on September 10, 2010; his daughter, Beth Ann Kuhns; a brother, George R. Kuhns; and a sister, Jane Hanson.  He is survived by his son: John R. Kuhns and his wife Dawn Hall, of Mt. Pleasant; a sister: Lois Faye Henderson, of South Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Robert R. Garris officiating. Private interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any animal rescue fund.
