William Irvine Obituary

William H. Irvine, 91, of Jeannette, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor.  He was born July 13, 1926 in Jamaica NY, a son of the late William T. and Elizabeth (Ottman) Irvine.  Prior to retirement he had been an attorney for the International Paper Corp and has served on the board of National Missions Presbyterian Church in New York.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in New York, a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and the College of the Ozarks. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corp.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jeanne (Stothers) Irvine on May 19, 2017; a daughter, Susan Irvine and a son, Michael Irvine. He is survived by a daughter Anne I. Tucci and her husband David of Jeannette; 3 grandchildren, Tiffany Altman and her husband Nicholas of Greensburg, William Shane Tucci and his wife Adriel of Greensburg and Alexis Irvine of Santa Barbara, CA; 4 great grandchildren, Ariah, Victoria, Bella and “Baby” Altman. Friends will be received from 4 TO 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.A funeral service will begin at 10 AM Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. John M. Smaligo officiating. Full military honors will follow accorded by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard. Burial will be in Santa Barbara, CA next to his wife. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association or The Humane Society of Westmoreland County.  www.bachafh.com
