Wanda V. Giernacky

Wanda V. Giernacky, 83, of Greensburg, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg.  She was born October 31, 1934 in Hempfield Township, a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Stella K. (Czeczot) Giernacky.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by Powerex, Inc. of Youngwood.  She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Steve, Paul, Joseph and William Giernacky, and sisters, Josephine Silvis, Elizabeth Testa and Pearl Erhart.  She is survived by her sister, Stella Felbaum and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Hempfield Township.  www.bachafh.com
