Thomas E. Lubash, Sr, 95, of Greensburg, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his home. He was born June 7, 1923 in Greensburg, a son of the late Andrew and Mary (Gaskey) Lubash. Prior to retirement he had been employed as a chemist for the former Walworth Valve Company, South Greensburg. He was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg. He was an active Volunteer at the church serving as a Eucharistic minister, altar server for funerals and bingo helper at the festivals. He was an Army veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Lubash, Jr., December 19, 1996 and several brothers, sisters and a nephew. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen R. (Vinoski) Lubash, his son, Andrew Lubash and wife Gina of Export, his daughters, Bernadette Moore and husband Christopher of Derry and Cynthia DeRunk of Butler, three grandchildren, Kelly Anderson (Leroy), Jessi Mae Chockley (Charlie), and Sarah Lubash, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
