Stanley A. Lubiniecki, 100 ½, of Southwest Greensburg, died Friday, May 4, 2018 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. He was born October 18, 1917 in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Anthony and Cecelia (Tomajczyk) Lubiniecki. Prior to retirement he had been employed by General Tire & Rubber Company, Jeannette for 20 years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #472, Manor and the Jednota Lodge Branch #512, Greensburg. He was an Army veteran serving in WWII in the European Theatre. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie (Tomchey) Lubiniecki on September 28, 2010; his brother, Edward Lubiniecki; and two sisters, Sophie Stofko and Violet Pszczolkowski. He is survived by his son, Dr. Anthony S. Lubiniecki and wife Harriet, of Newtown Square; his grandson, Dr. Gregory Lubiniecki and wife Min; four great-grandsons, Basil, Raphael, Preston and Tristan; his sister, Genevieve Pyzewski, of Lower Burrell; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:00 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9:30 AM in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the VFW Post #33 Honor Guard. www.bachafh.com
