Ronald Palangio

Ronald Palangio, 58, of New Alexandria, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.  He was born April 6, 1959 in Latrobe, a son of Albert Palangio, Jr., of Greensburg and Donna (Spillar) Spurgeon, of Alabama.  He had been employed by Jay Mari Co., Latrobe.  He was Catholic by faith.  Ronald was a member of the Old Crabtree Sportsman’s Club and the Ukrainian Club, New Alexandria.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Karen J. (Hudak) Palangio; his step-son, Jeffrey B. Abate and wife Gina, of North Carolina; his step-daughter, Angela M. Tatarek and husband Joseph, of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Austin and Julia; two sisters, Cheryl Frontiero and husband Steve, of Alabama and Anita Schade and husband Paul, of Irwin; his brother-in-law, John Hudak and wife Jenny, of Indiana and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 AM Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Justin Matro, OSB officiating.  Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
