Robert A. Neil, 78, of Greensburg, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born April 3, 1939 in Greensburg, a son of the late Harry and Marie (Bailey) Neil.  Prior to retirement, he had been a building supervisor for the Westmoreland County Prison. Prior to that he had been an Auxillary Policeman and also been employed by the Elliott Company, Jeannette. He was a member of The Church of the Brethren, Southwest Greensburg and the NRA. He was a Navy veteran serving during the Bay of Pigs.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John “Jack” Neil.  He is survived by his wife: Serena (Kushinsky) Neil; 2 sons: Patrick R. Neil and Curtis Neil, both of Greensburg; a daughter: Marie Neil, of Iowa; 2 grandsons: Ethan and Riker. Honoring Robert’s wishes, services and interment will be private. LEO M.
