Olga J. Raimondo

Olga J. Raimondo, 96, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, June 1,  2018 at St. Anne Home in Greensburg.  She was born October 5, 1921 in Avella, PA, a daughter of the late Stephen and Lena (Merlo) Corgnati. She was predeased by her devoted husband Albert N. Raimondo, her brother Levio Corgnati and son-in-law Robert Yuhas.  Olga was a member of St. Paul Parish in Greensburg and its Rosary Altar Society. She was also formerly a volunteer at St. Emma Monastery and Westmoreland Hospital, both in Greensburg. Nothing made Olga happier than preparing a large meal for her family, who were her pride and joy, and summers on the porch with her good friends and neighbors. She is survived by her children; Diana Yuhas, Karen Dolan, David (Andrea) Raimondo, and Mary Ann (Edward) Yurcon; her brother, Eldo Corgnati (late Ann); grandchildren: Jason (Marci) Yuhas, Christopher (Jacki) Yuhas, William (Anna) Dolan, Elizabeth Dolan, Gregory (Stephanie) Dolan,  Katherine Raimondo, Michael (Ashley) Raimondo, Adam Yurcon and Matthew Yurcon; great grandchildren: Alexis Leuthold, Lena Yuhas, Nicholas Yuhas, Leah Dolan, Matthew Dolan and anticipated Andrew Dolan; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Anne Home, Dr. Thomas DeGregory and Dr. Robert Sanders for their care through this difficult time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601 or St. Emma Monastery, 1001 Harvey Avenue, Greensburg, PA 15601.
