Nellie A. DeNezza, 94, of Greensburg, died Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg.  She was born November 10, 1922 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Anthony and Erminia (Labriola) Yett.  She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg and its funeral choir.  She was also a member of the Italian Women’s Club and St. Anne Women’s Auxiliary.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Peter A. DeNezza on June 9, 1986; and two sisters: Livia “Lee” Maddalena and Mafalda “Ginny” Conte.  She is survived by three sons: Richard A. DeNezza and wife Hazel, David M. DeNezza and wife Mariann all of Greensburg and Peter M. DeNezza and wife Cynthia of Lemont Furnace; grandchildren: Michael DeNezza (Lori), Richard DeNezza, Anthony DeNezza (Ashley), Maria DeNezza Sidoni (Chris), Brad Herrle (Lisa) and Misty Dawn Durst (James); great-grandchildren: Michael, Marissa, Armani, Anello, Amelia, David, Grace, Sophie Anna, Jamison, Rebecca and Nicole; her sister: Mary Lou Fulgenzio of Jeannette; her sister-in-law: Mary Lou Cepullio of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 1:30 PM in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.  Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.  www.bachafh.com
