Mary Lou (Cohen) Chellman

Mary Lou Chellman, 82, of Greensburg, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 in her home.  She was born November 7, 1936 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Harry and Cecelia (Quinn) Cohen.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by the Clerk of Courts of Westmoreland County and was also the constable for 6th Ward of Greensburg.  Mary Lou was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Lee, Harry C., and David M. Cohen; and her sister, Ida P. Thomas.  She is survived by her son, Ronald Jerry Chellman, Jr., of Greensburg; two daughters, Katherine Poruben and husband Karl, of Pittsburgh, and Lisa Hope Chellman, of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Ronald Jerry Chellman (Krissy) and Karl Poruben, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Baylee Rae and Tucker Chellman; and several nieces and nephews.  Honoring Mary Lou’s request, there will be no public visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral liturgy to be celebrated at 11 AM Friday at the LEO M.
