Marlene J. (McGill) McKee, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in her home.  She was born June 7, 1941 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Harry Brooks and Emma (Hale) McGill.  She had been formerly employed by the United Parcel Service of New Stanton.  She was a member of New Stanton United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles H. McKee on September 13, 2017; her infant son: Charles; two brothers: Harry McGill Jr. and William McGill; and four sisters: Emily Jane McGill, Kathryn Cramer, Dolores Blank and Barbara Truxal.  She is survived by her son: Edward C. McKee and wife Melissa of Mt. Pleasant; five daughters: Darlene Bennett and husband Timothy of Conowingo, Maryland, Lynn Bompiani and husband Mark of Everson, Tracy Withrow and husband Russell of Greensburg, Patricia Pierce and husband Daniel of Canada and Stacie Mongell and husband Anthony of Mt. Pleasant; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers: Louis McGill of Virginia Beach, VA and M. Robert McGill and wife Gilberta of Greensburg; her sister: Sally Blacka of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews; and her devoted dog: Gretel.  Honoring Marlene’s request, there will be no public visitation.  Interment will be private.  LEO M.
