Louise E. Lucas

Louise E. Lucas, 94, of Greensburg, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor.  She was born February 21, 1923 in Lebanon, PA a daughter of the late Luther and Helen (Heckler) Graebner.  Prior to retirement she had been employed as a supervisor for the hospitality shop at Westmoreland Hospital. Louise enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She was super friendly, kind, generous and a good gentle woman that will be missed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Lucas on January 8, 2013 and her brother Calvin Graebner. She is survived by her son: Richard A. (Patricia) Lucas, of New Hope, PA; 2 granddaughters: Megan (John) Miller, of Macungie, PA and Courtney (Michael) Day, of Doylestown, PA; 4 great grandchildren: Alex Miller; Caitlin, Alena and Niamh Day. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  PA. Prayers will begin at 10:15 AM Wednesday in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 AM in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood with the Rev. William C. McGuirk, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
