Kristina Lynn (Barnhart) Boring

Kristina Lynn Boring, 52, of Derry Township, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born March 27, 1966, in Latrobe, a daughter of John "Barney" and May (Ahlborn) Barnhart, of Latrobe. Kristina was a member of Latrobe United Methodist Church and worked at Berkheimer Tax Innovations in Derry. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and aunt. She enjoyed traveling on cruise ships and spending time with her two adoring bichons, Belle and Bailey. In addition to her grandparents, she was preceded in death by her mother- and father-in-law, Robert and Eileen Boring. In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband, Jesse D. Boring; her daughter, Mackenzie O. Boring, of Lancaster; two sisters, Kimberly Sellinger and husband, Harold, Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, and Kathryn "Katie" Miller and husband, Kirk, of Latrobe. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, Matthew Boring and wife, Amanda, Seth Boring, Levi Boring, Kolony Miller, Kolton Miller, Zachary Sellinger and Blake Sellinger; and two great-nieces, Alayna and Kylee Boring. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, where funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Thomas M. Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
