Joseph F. Talamo

Joseph F. Talamo, 99, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018.  Joseph enlisted in the Army during WWII and proudly served as 1st Lieutenant in Military Intelligence from 1941 to 1945.  During his years of service, he received the Presidential Unit Citation, and earned the Bronze Star for meritorious service.  Upon his return from the war, he bean his 35 year career as a Branch Manager of Equifax.  In 1950, he married Yolanda, his kind-hearted and strong-minded wife of 67 years.  Together they raised five children, enjoyed 12 grandchildren, and were blessed with one remarkable great-grandson.  Joseph took great pride in his family.  His gentle guidance immeasurably influenced all that his children and grandchildren have accomplished.  Those who knew Joe experienced his caring demeanor, encountered his inquisitive mind, witnessed his integrity, and tolerated his attention to detail!  The family requests a private memorial service and wished to thank all those individuals who cared for him.  Go Irish!  LEO M.
