Frederick H. Dalzell, 70, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born April 19, 1948 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Raymond and Florence (Davidson) Dalzell. Prior to retirement he had been a welfare case worker for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and was a member of the New Alexandria Fireman’s Club. Frederick was a car enthusiast and loved bowling and his oldies. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Thomas Dalzell. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Dalzell-Ajwa and husband Ziad, of Kentucky; two sons, David Dalzell, of North Huntingdon, and Scott Dalzell and wife Tina, of Greensburg; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother, James Dalzell, of Uniontown; seven sisters, Evelyn Simmons (Harold), of Missouri, Arlene Smith (Forrest), of South Carolina, Dawn Dalzell, of Pittsburgh, Joan Bivens, of Pittsburgh, Lynne Unetich (Jeff), of Uniontown, Virginia Kirlingitis (Alan), of Uniontown, and Louanne Nicholson (Ron), of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A committal service and interment will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday in Jefferson Memorial Park Chapel, 401 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh. www.bachafh.com
