Frank W. Smith, 78, of Greensburg, died Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born in 1939, a son of the late Glenn Sr. and Ethyl (Simmons) Smith.  Prior to retirement he had been a supervisor.  He was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and a member of the Youngwood Sportsman’s Club.  He is survived by his wife: Therese M. (Schmitt) Smith; their son: Stephen M. Smith of Pittsburgh and his companion Shirley Susa; two brothers: Glenn Smith Jr. and wife Mary of Youngwood and Edward Smith and wife Charlene of Tennessee; two sisters: Gloria Smith Blackwell of Tennessee and Maxine Smith of Youngwood; four brothers-in-law: Arthur Schmitt of Pittsburgh; John Schmitt and wife Judy of Ohio, Paul Schmitt and wife Sandy of Pittsburgh and Robert Schmitt and wife Frances of Virginia; three sisters-in-law: Mildred Pullen, Rita Daily and Pauline Schmitt all of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home with The Rev. Robert A. Free officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  www.bachafh.com
