Francis E. Sedlacko

Francis E. Sedlacko, 80, of Greensburg, died Friday, February 23, 2018 in Hempfield Manor.  He was born July 20, 1937 in Hostetter, a son of the late George and Josephine (Stranko) Sedlacko.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg, Hecla Sportsman’s Club and Twin Lakes Fishing Club.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, George, Jr., Gervase, Benedict, John R. and Richard Sedlacko; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Sedlacko, Florence Sedlacko, Faye Sedlacko and Mary Jane Peterinelli; his brothers-in-law, John Bridge, and Joseph and Emil Peterinelli; and his father and mother-in-law, Louis J. and Yolanda Gazze.  He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Gazze) Sedlacko; his son, Francis Sedlacko, Jr., of Greensburg; his grandson, Dylan; his brothers, Eugene Sedlacko, of Greensburg, Steve Sedlacko, of Ocala, FL, Louis Sedlacko (Sally), of New Alexandria, Thomas Sedlacko (Mary Jean), of Aspers and Donald Sedlacko (Laurel), of Greensburg; his sisters, Regina Bridge, of Waterford and Dolores Starkey (Milford), of Greensburg; his brother-in-law, Bruno Peterinelli, of Greensburg; his sisters-in-law, Justine Sedlacko, of Irwin, Marion Sedlacko, of Greensburg and Jovanna Peterinelli, of Greensburg; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
