David L. Coleman

David L. Coleman, 79, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville.  He was born October 28, 1938 in Friedens, a son of the late Oscar Bowman and Mildred H. (Griffith) Coleman.  Prior to his retirement, David worked for 35 years as a communications technician at AT&T, Pittsburgh.  He was a member of the CWA and a founding member of the Basically British Car Club.  David was an Air Force Veteran.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Velma J. Coleman; and two brothers, Kenneth and James Coleman.  He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Jean Coleman and husband Stanley Bialecki, of Bethlehem; his son, Michael E. Coleman and wife Fredricka, of Berthoud, CO; four grandchildren, David K., Dana N., Matthew N., and Meredith A. Coleman; his loving companion, Colleen Brennan, of Plum Boro; seven siblings; Edward Coleman (Lois), of Latrobe, Ruth Acker (Frank), of Terre Haute, IN; Hazel Benscoter, of Temple City, CA, Nancy Clark (L. William), of Kresgeville, Robert Coleman (Janet), of Frankstown, William Coleman (Elizabeth), of Columbia, KY, and Janet Coleman, of Jennerstown; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Coleman, of Somerset, and Linda Coleman, of Washington; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. John M.
