Christine L. (Fultz) Metzler, 98, of Unity Township, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017. She was born March 26, 1919, in Mt. Pleasant Township near Mammoth, a daughter of the late William G. and Mary (Baker) Fultz. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trauger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles I. Metzler; a son, Charles E. Metzler; and seven siblings, Alva Hartman, William G. Fultz Jr., Margaret Johnston, Jeanne Gardner, James B. Fultz, Rebecca Wilder and Dorothy Mintus. She is survived by three sons, Kurt F. Metzler, of Unity Township, Mark R. Metzler and wife Darlene, of Mt. Pleasant Township, and Guy W. Metzler and wife Tracie, of United; a daughter-in-law:  Cindy Metzler of Greensburg; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Mark A. Werner officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township. www.bachafh.com.
