Carolyn M. (Vallano) Carr, 46, of Greensburg, died Monday, November 26, 2018 in her home. She was born September 15, 1972 in Greensburg, a daughter of Donald T. and Joanne (Church) Vallano, of Greensburg. Carolyn was a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She had been a teacher for the Kiski Area School District and formerly taught at Aquinas Academy for seven years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 14 years, David J. Carr; two sons, Eli D. and Grant M. Carr, at home; four brothers, Patrick T. Vallano (Traci), of Morgantown, WV, Christopher A. Vallano, of Greensburg, John G. Vallano, of Greensburg, and Michael J. Vallano (Anne), of Austin, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 PM Thursday at Charter Oak Church, 449 Frye Farm Rd., Greensburg. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Friday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg. Everyone please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. LEO M.
