Carol Jean Yuvan, 73, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Friday, November 2, 2018. She was born June 21, 1945 in Dover, NJ, a daughter of the late Guy and Elizabeth (Barger) White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved infant daughter, Rhonda Lee; and her brother, James White. Carol was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was a member of Charter Oak Methodist Church, Greensburg. Carol had a very curious mind and open heart, which led her in her spiritual development. She loved and supported the arts, as well as having a great affinity for people and animals. She had a great love for the experience of travel. Carol had an entrepreneurial spirit. She was a small business owner and had vast experience in management and sales. She and her husband enjoyed winters in Treasure Island, Florida. Carol will be greatly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Ronald Steven Yuvan; two daughters, Veronica Ann Yuvan and husband Scott Andrew Keefer, of Mt. Pleasant, and Rona Elizabeth Yuvan and fiancé Brent Gatehouse, of Greensburg; and her beloved grandchildren, Benjamin Andrew, Ellie Anne, and Jordan Luke Keefer. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Chris Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
