Violet R. Shively, 98, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Westmoreland Manor.  She was born April 18, 1919 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Roadman) Augustine.  She had been a foster mother for 35 years.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Greensburg.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth H. Shively on June 5, 1991; her infant son: Howard; her son-in-law: George Woods; and several brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her son: Neil W. Shively and wife Edwina of South Bury, Connecticut; two daughters: Karen Tucci and husband Thomas of Greensburg and Beverly Woods of Youngstown, OH; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  An additional visitation will be held from 10 to 10:45 AM Saturday in Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 W. 4th Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Tammy L. Falcsik officiating.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  www.bachafh.com
